Let’s talk about tea, shall we?

I have decided to get on the “it’s a new year which means a healthier me” bandwagon. One of the first steps that I have decided to take on is trying Your Tea. No not your actual tea, the brand “Your Tea.”

The thought of even drinking tea all started when a few coworkers and I were talking about getting healthier this year. One of them said that she was going to start drinking tea and that she found one on Instagram that promoted weight loss and a healthier lifestyle. Another coworker pitched into the conversation and started talking about another brand of tea, Your Tea. She said that she has a friend who drinks it religiously and loves it.
Personally, I have seen several of these teas online that are used for weight loss, bloating, detoxing, skin purifying, etc., but never decided to try one. In my opinion, social media and the testimonials that you see online can sometimes be deceiving. I’ve bought way too many things in the past due to positive feedback that have been nothing like what they claimed it would be. Plus, tea has never really been my thing. I was born and raised a coffee girl.
What hooked me into the considering the brand Your Tea was that my coworker knows someone who actually uses it. I asked her if she could send me the link to the website so I could check it out.
Your Tea is a Canadian company that ships internationally (North America, South America, Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, United Kingdom, and New Zealand), which is awesome! Under their about me section, “our mantra”, they state that it would be a “daft” of them to hand their consumers just a pretty packet of tea bags. They claim to want to provide their customers with “knowledge on how to achieve, maintain and continue on with optimum health – with and without their products”. To me this sounded fantastic; we need more companies that care about the after effects of their products.
Here are a few things that I read under the FAQ section that drew me towards Your Tea:
I have many properties that perform the following
jobs: drying phlegm (a cellulite aggravator), reducing
waste, and waging the fight against food stagnation
by stimulating your digestive system.
I will aid in reducing bloating and clearing stagnant
food. As I nourish your digestive system, you will
notice an increase in energy, as your body will be able
absorb nutrients more effectively. Furthermore, your
digestive system makes blood and blood gives us
energy – so with your body making stronger, cleaner
blood – this will increase your energy levels further.
My herbs will also assist in clearing up skin blemishes,
reduce sugar cravings and heighten your mood.
Please note, I am not a laxative tea.
Your Teas blends are based upon TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) principles. TCM principles are basically ideologies made to encourage you to stay healthy and active so you can avoid as many mercurial health problems that could arise in the future.
There is a nice selection of teas that you can purchase ranging from body teas to mood teas. The tea that I decided to try out is called Tiny Tea. It claims to nourish and cleanse the digestive system while it assists with bloating, indigestion, problematic skin, cellulite, increased energy, and reduction of excess weight. Tiny Teas main aim is to bring your body back to its original well-being, before modern day lifestyles, sugars, fats, stress, inactivity, and emotions possibly maltreated it. It’s intended to be drank three times a day, 30 minutes before each meal.
I just wanted to share something I am pretty excited about trying out, and give you a brief intro into it! I just got the tea in the mail this morning and immediately began day 1 of this adventure that I am going on. The packaging is super cute, the tea tastes like tea, and the shipping was here within the time span it claimed it would be, so far no complaints. I will be posting a before and after picture and review after the 14 days, so stay tuned! Happy Hump Day Friends!
